We are currently living in a world, where AI has taken over almost each and every sector. We all know whats AI , but we gotta dive more deeper into the differences between AI and Generative AI. Lets go check, that out.

AI- The term AI-Artificial Intelligence is a simulation of the human intelligence which is processed by the computer systems. AI performs tasks which typically requires human intelligence and has skills in problem solving, decision making and language understanding. The AI definition involves in the development of algorithm and large language models which helps the machines to learn from the patterns, data and generate decisions. AI is found in many industries and helps to eliminate the risks. They aim to improve the daily lives and plays a significant role. AI is used in many industries such as military, healthcare, education, and computing.
Generative AI is a deep-learning model which has the capability to generate high-quality images, texts and other contents based on the data which they have been trained on. They are trained to work on data provided and can create original content in response to prompts or request. The Generative AI can produce contents in the form of Text, Image, Video, Audio, Synthetic Data, molecules, etc. They have wide range of applications such as Software development, Healthcare, Finance, Entertainment, Customer Service, Marketing, Research, etc. Some of the examples are ChatGPT, GPT-3 for text, DALL-E for images, Sora for video and MusicLM for audio.
Whats the difference between them?
The main difference between AI and Generative AI is that their functions and the capabilities they have. The traditional AI is focusing on analyzing the data and make decisions based on the existing information they have, whereas the Generative AI is specialized in creating or generating new and original content from the request we have given to the system.
The AI recognizes the pattern and do the analysis while the Generative Ai creates pattern and generate contents. The output of AI will be predictions or decisions which are already been entered to the system and Generative AI creates new and original content and data. The main application of AI is analyzing the data and making decisions, the Generative Ai creates content, design and can also create tasks. The Learning approach of AI is that it uses supervised learning, whereas Generative AI uses unsupervised and semi-supervised learning on the datasets.

Lets outline the Pros and Cons of AI
Lets outline the Pros and Cons of Generative AI
There are many regulations that needs to be considered while using these AI and Generative AI.
Ai technology has paved way for many concerns and relies heavily on huge datasets including personal information, so it should be considered sensitive while handling data. The intellectual property right as will use existing contents and paves way for copyright infringement. Biasing as they lead to discriminatory outcomes and can Impact certain groups and establish guidelines and regulations to address The AI bias and ensures the fairness and prevent legal disputes.
There are many legal regulations to consider while using generative AI, the most concerning them is Intellectual Property as the Ai is trained with loads of data, the content generated will resembles the work of someone else and paves way for copyright infringement as they were trained using someone else’s work. Personal data and confidentiality as they distinguish between personal and non-personal data and identifies information. They could use confidential data for training and must ensure that the data must remain safe from tampering and unauthorised access.

In a nutshell, both AI and Generative AI can be usefull for shaping the future. Subscribe for more, and do comment with your feedback.
